Privacy notice

The short version

This site has one form. What you type into it comes to us by email so we can answer you. We do not sell it, we do not advertise to you with it, and we do not track you around the internet.

What we collect

Only what you choose to put in the enquiry form: your name, your email address, and optionally your phone number, party size, travel dates, destinations, budget and message. Nothing on this site collects anything from you unless you fill that form in and submit it.

Why we hold it

To reply to your enquiry, to prepare a quote if you want one, and to keep a record of our correspondence if you go on to book a trip. That is the whole purpose.

Who else sees it

Our web host, Netlify, processes the form submission and passes it to us; their handling is covered by their own privacy terms. If you book a trip, we share only what is necessary with the specific suppliers involved — a hotel needs your name, a guide needs your party size. We do not sell or rent your details to anyone, ever.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies at all, uses no analytics service, and has nothing on it that follows you to other websites. That is why you are not being asked to accept anything.

One thing it does do: while you are here, your browser keeps a short list of the pages you have opened on this site, so that if you send us an enquiry we can see which guides prompted it. That list is held in your browser's session storage, never in a cookie. It is deleted the moment you close the tab, it is not readable by anyone else, and it reaches us only if you choose to submit the form. Turning JavaScript off removes it entirely and the form still works.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those files from Google's servers.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not turn into a trip are kept while they might still be useful to you and then deleted. Records relating to a booked trip are kept as long as we need them for the trip and for our own accounting obligations.

Your choices

Ask us at any time what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the enquiry form and say so, and we will act on it.

Children

This site is meant for adults planning travel. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If what we do with your information changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top will tell you when.
